Before you begin

Reinstall the device driver

The laptop works just fine from AC only. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Battery driver, but it still is not working. Currently, the batter is plugged in, but there is an red X on the battery icon which indicates that a battery is not plugged in, but when I click on the battery icon it says plugged in and charging.
